Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using any LunacyDev product — including the Recon browser extension, the TubeCaps browser extension, or any related website or service — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our products.

2. Description of Services

LunacyDev provides browser-based AI productivity tools:

• Recon — A LinkedIn writing assistant that generates profile insights, contextual reply suggestions, comment reply assistance, and post drafting, all requiring explicit user approval before any action is taken.
• TubeCaps — A YouTube transcript toolkit that captures, summarizes, and rewrites video transcript content directly inside YouTube.

LunacyDev tools do not automatically send messages, post content, or perform actions on your behalf. Final control always remains with you.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our services. By using our products, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Certain features of Recon are available through paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• All prices are listed in US Dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes
• Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis through Stripe
• Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance measured in units; unused units do not roll over
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance

6. Free Tier and Trials

We offer a free tier with limited monthly usage. We may also offer a one-time free trial of paid features. Trial terms, including duration and usage limits, are displayed at the time of activation. A trial may only be used once per user account. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue trial offers at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services to violate any law, regulation, or the terms of any third-party platform (including LinkedIn and YouTube)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Circumvent usage limits, billing controls, or trial restrictions
• Use the service to generate spam, misleading content, or automated bulk messaging
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services

8. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, text, graphics, and other materials associated with LunacyDev products are the property of LunacyDev and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our products in accordance with these Terms.

Content you generate using our AI tools (such as draft replies, posts, or summaries) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your generated output.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our products use AI models to generate suggestions, drafts, and insights. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before use. LunacyDev is not liable for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LunacyDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to LunacyDev in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Termination

You may stop using our products at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal accessible from the extension.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in activity that harms our services or other users. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice when possible.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, when feasible, through product notifications. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LunacyDev operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
